Join us May 5th-7th, Cinco De Mayo weekend for the inaugural Spiketown Showdown volleyball festival. So much to do on one weekend you will not be dissapointed! We have a beer garden, player party, vendor booths, concert, zipline, 3 days of grass volleyball, 3 days of beach volleyball, and did I mention over $80,000 in prizes? That's not even scratching the surface. On Friday we start our weekend with a quads grass tournament with none-other than Waupaca Boatride. We will also begin 4 rounds of beach qualifiers for our AVP Big Money Tournament. Saturday on the grass will be doubles, while on the beach our juniors tournament begins and the adults begin bracket play. Saturday night will close with a concert for everyone to attend. Lastly on Sunday we have the biggest grass competition of the weekend... Triples with over a $10,000 prize purse. On the sand we will finish up our Elite 8 adult teams, all competing for a whopping $50,000 purse. We will also be concluding our juniors sand tournament as we wrap up a phenomenal weekend of volleyball. If you haven't signed up yet...what are you waiting for!

Tournament Details

Friday:

Friday will include 3 rounds of modified pool play with start times at 8:00am, 12:00pm, and 4:00pm. There will be 15 minutes allocated court time for warm up, all other warming up must be done off the court. A max of 54 teams will move to Saturday.

Saturday:

54 team single elimination bracket starting at 2:00pm.

Sunday:

Quarters will start at 10am and all tournament play should conclude before 5:00pm

Frequently Asked Questions

Parking Fees: Yes. Friday Evening, Saturday and Sundays. $5.00. Parking may be difficult as well as the facility is 320 acres and offers multiple amazing sports for all athletes. You will see 

Food: No.  Please do not bring outside food. 17,000 sq. foot restaurant, the GOAT! Food can be to-go as well as alcoholic beverages. 

Drinks: Water is fine.  Legacy will have Gatorade, water and alcohol for purchase. 

Tents and Chairs: Yes! Please bring your own chairs and tents as those will not be provided. Legacy may have tents set up around the facility for use but they are limited.  

Balls: Yes. Legacy will provide 2 balls per court to be played with. If you would like more balls to warm up and play, please bring your own.

Pets: No. Although we are huge animal lovers, there are no pets allowed in the Legacy Beach Facility.

Beach Facility Rules and Expectations

Please be kind to all athletes, parents, spectators, and directors at the Beach Facility. 

All formats are subject to change depending on registration numbers. 

No cursing at or towards any athlete, parent, spectator or director.

No glass allowed in the sand.

Please throw away any trash you may have before leaving the facility.

Refunds will NOT be given after April 21st, 2023 at 5:00pm MST. We apologize for any inconvenience but a lot of time goes into creating an event, programming, finding a new teams/athletes and much more. We appreciate your understanding.
