The AVP will be returning to the Aloha State in 2019. Last year’s Hawaii Invitational was an absolute athlete and fan favorite, so we decided to return to Waikiki in style, expanding to an open tournament with a full main draw. Partnering with the HTA, Hawaii’s lead tourism agency, the AVP will be building the beach festival experience in the heart of Oahu, right along the beaches of Fort DeRussy, Waikiki. With many AVP athletes being Hawaii natives, it’s a guarantee the Hawaii Open will excite fans & athletes and prove to be an event for the books! If you’re a true beach volleyball fan, trust us, you’ll want to cross this one off your bucket list. Aloha!
Tune in to NBCSN on Monday, Sept. 23rd at 4:00pm PT to witness the top beach volleyball athletes in the world battle it out in the finals from the Aloha State!
