We want to know who the best high school beach volleyball player is in Northern California.

ADVANCED ONLY

Seeding into the tournament will be based on AVP points.  Registration closes 8/1/2019

20 players will enter, only 1 will be victorious. 

Individual sign up, no partners required.

The top 16 players will based on AVP points, on 8/1/2019, will be entered into 5 player pools.  We will grant 4-wildcard spots to players who have done well in non-avp beach tournaments (p1440, AAU, CBVA, etc)  Apply for wildcard spot by emailing kevin@moxiebeach with brief description why WC is deserved.  If WC spots are unused we will take the next team from the waitlist. 

Players will play with and against every athlete in pool.  Top 2 will advance from round 1, leaving 8 players.  Again, top two will advance from round 2 to final pool. 

Signing up will not QUALIFY you for the event.  The only way to qualify for this event is acquire enough AVP points over 2019 summer to be a top 16 player in the area, or deservingly earn a WC spot.   If you are 14U with enough 18U/16U points you CAN qualify.   With that said we will not charge until 1 week prior to the event so there is no HARM in signing up early! 

$50 per player registration fee, make sure the AVP America database has the correct email address for collection, if we cannot collect in a timely fashion that player will lose their spot and a player on the waitlist will be given that spot. 

Tournament will start at 6PM and will end around 10:00pm.  This will be the only tournament this summer that will be under the lights at UC Davis. 

This is a chance to showcase a players ability to adapt, right-side, left-side, blocker and defender.  The player who wins will have to be good at everything!
