Saturday, September 26th:

Men's and Women's Open- 16 teams each. *Double Elimination Bracket, Olympic Crossover style.

Check will begin on Saturday, Sept. 26th at 7:00am. Player's meeting at 7:45am. Balls in the air promptly at 8:00am.  

We will not allow walk-up registrations. To help ensure the tournament starts on time, please arrive by the designated check-in time. If there is a delay of the first round due to teams not arriving on time, a point deduction will accrue for each minute late and a forfeit of the first set will be implemented after 15 minutes.

Tournaments will follow USAV Beach Volleyball Rules.

Hyden Beach has partnered with The Recovery Lounge in Franklin, TN. The Recovery Lounge will be hosting traveling pros on Sept 25th from 4-7pm for an exclusive Hyden Beach night.  Their staff will close the doors to the public so that players can have unfettered access, enjoy catching up, and prepare for the tournament! Interested players should go to www.therecoverylounge.co to book their time or call at 615-435-3069.  Anyone competing in the event will receive 20% off of any therapy at the time of check out. The Recovery Lounge will also be in attendance at Hyden Beach on Saturday to help service the players. 

Tournaments Cancellation Policy: Team cancellations that occur from the time registration is first paid online until two days prior to an event will be refunded 100% of the registration fee (e.g. cancel before midnight on Wednesday before the said tournament that is held on a Saturday). Teams that cancel after that point will forfeit their entire registration payment. Exception to policy is when there are not enough teams in the registered division to field a complete pool. If this occurs, teams in the division that does not make a complete pool will be offered a refund. Any questions on this policy or its application should be addressed to info@hydenbeach.com.

Inclement weather policy:

• If cancellation occurs before the first game begins, a full refund minus credit card processing fees for all teams present will be refunded.

• If cancellation occurs at any point during pool play, no refund will be offered.
• If cancellation occurs during playoffs in divisions where there are cash payouts, those total cash payouts will be split evenly between the active teams at that time point in the tournament.

Tournament cancellations can occur when there is significant inclement weather (lightning) that will last greater than two hours and/or heavy rainfall lasting longer than two hours. This call is at the discretion of the tournament director. 

The Tournament Director has the discretion to temporarily suspend all play as well as clear the courts for any reason they deem appropriate.
