PAYMENT IS DUE AT TIME OF REGISTRATION

NOTE: All registering teams MUST have two (2) Players listed, and BOTH Players MUST have a VALID AVP America membership, at the time of registration. Any team registered as a 1-Player team (no Player 2 listed), or any team registered with Player(s) not having a valid AVP America membership, will be removed from the Entry List without notice or recourse.

*NO pets allowed in the Sandbox Facility or at Ocean Beach*

SCHEDULE:

9:30 am – All other divisions check-in (*COED included*)

10:00 am - 1st match start (late starts will be penalized)

1:30 pm – estimated time that play-off matches will occur

*At The Sandbox facility we will be running an accelerated format - shorter warmup times, and must start the first match (including ref team) or point penalties will be enforced.

REGISTER and pay through the AVP America web site:

- $80 per team, payment is required at time of registration or your entry will be removed from the Entry List without notice or recourse.

- Annual AVP America membership required for each participant.

FORMAT:

- Doubles (2X2) 

- Pool play followed by single elimination playoffs.

DIVISIONS*:

- Intermediate (B)

- Skilled (A)

- Advanced (AA)

- Open (Open)

*Divisions may be combined at the discretion of the tournament coordinator.

For 2v2 tournaments, if one Player on the team has made playoffs in a Division in any similar tournament, at any time in the AVP America ranking period, the team will not be allowed to play two Divisions down (example: one Player made playoffs in an Open Division, therefore the team will not be allowed to play in the A Division)*

For 2v2 tournaments, if both Players have made playoffs in a Division in any similar tournament, at any time in the AVP America ranking period, the team will not be allowed to play one Division down (example: both Players made playoffs in an Open Division, therefore the team will not be allowed to play in the AA Division)*

*Variance from these rules may be allowed at the discretion of the Tournament Director, or the Organization running the tournament.

NUMBER OF TEAMS:

- The Sandbox Indoor Beach Sports and Events Facility: 3 net maximum, 15 teams maximum per division

- Divisions filled on first-come, first-served basis

- We will throttle the number of available nets per division based on registrations. If all nets are not in use by the Wednesday before the tournament then we will make more nets available to divisions with a Wait List, so please be sure to register if you want to play!! 

- Advance registration and payment is REQUIRED to guarantee your team spot!

-THE SANDBOX FACILITY  Merchandise, sponsor prizes and beach volleyball essentials available to all divisions at the discretion of the tournament coordinator.
